Breeder Referral Program

We urge PWD breeders who are PWDCA members to enroll in the PWDCA Breeder Referral Program, a program which the PWDCA considers of vital importance to the Breed and the Club. Please note the Breeder Agreement has been updated and revised. Be sure to read the Agreement in its entirety.

Much of the program, including the Litter Listing Form, Breeders with Puppies/Dogs List, and other documents can be accessed on-line for your convenience.

To participate in the Breeder Referral Program:

  • Review and sign the Breeder Agreement Form
  • Mail the signed Breeder Agreement with the annual $50 subscription check** (or credit card information) payable to PWDCA, Inc. to the Program Coordinator prior to January 1.*
  • When a litter is expected, submit the Litter Listing Form

If you are a non-breeder at this time, your support is still needed.  You may send your check and ask to be listed NB (non-breeder).  This notation will signify that you are currently not breeding, preventing unwanted phone calls.

*A subscription to the Breeder Referral Participants List is for the twelve month period from January 1 through the last day of December.  Those joining the list after January 1 must still pay the full $50.00 listing fee.
**Please refer to the current agreement to determine whether you qualify for the discounted renrollment fee of $25.00.

In an effort to align the Breeder Referral Program with the other PWDCA breeder's programs, the 2012 enrollment date will change from April 1, 2012 to January 1, 2012.

All program members as of 1 January 2012 may renew for the calendar year of 2012 at no additional cost by submitting an updated breeder referral application (reflecting the PWDCA Health testing Policy for PWDCA Breeder's Program participation adopted 5/23/11 as outlined in the PWDCA Policy & Procedure Manual, page 38, Section M), including an updated list of intact dogs/bitches owned/co-owned by them AND a list of all litters bred in the calendar year of 2011. This renewal option will be null and void as of January 15, 2012.

Those not wishing to continue in the program will be dropped from the list as of 1 April 2012.

For 2013 the program renewal will be as currently described in the Breeder Referral Program application.
