  • Announcing the completion of a genetic test for Improper Coat (IC) in PWDs

  • JDCM Linked Marker DNA Test

    Cheek brushes are now accepted!

    Blood samples are preferred as a DNA source. However, in an effort to make JDCM Linked Marker Testing more convenient and less costly, the University of Pennsylvania will now also accept cheek (cytology) brushes.

    Other details:
    • Please share the availability of the test with others who are not on the lists.
    • Results may take as long as 4-6 weeks depending on the amount of samples received.
    • DO NOT call the University for results. It will only interrupt the researchers and slow things down. Test results will ONLY be available by email, fax or snail mail.
    • If you supply an email address on the forms, results will be emailed the same day that the certificate is mailed.
